I got the 200 ml sauvage edt my batch code is 2N1X and for those who claim formula code of edt hasn’t changed, No it has! Formula code has changed to N 16097, which implies reformulation. Very disappointed with the performance, perhaps will go for the edp or completely avoid dior sauvage imo On average, the latest batches of Dior Sauvage last for 7-9 hours, and projection is really good for the first 3 hours. Sillage is also very strong, and the scent will definitely stay in the air after you. In the first days of Sauvage EDT, this thing was out of this world, lasting over 10 hours and projecting for at least 5 hours.
Batch variations will change how the fragrance smells despite having the same formula code. This could be because of either intentional tweaking based on customer feedback, or unintentional changes due to the naturals being different from batch to batch. I realise some people get excellent performance with Sauvage EDP so it must be down to my batch, which is December 2021. When I say abysmal, I mean the scent is non-existent after 4 sprays 90 minutes later.
