YSL Y Le Parfum Appreciation. Finally completed my sampling/owning of every fragrance in the YSL Y line and Y Le Parfum is the crown jewel. Such a refined, well blended flanker that takes the greatness of the EDP/Live and adds depth and maturity to it. Great scent, YSL Y and Sauvage are really really popular for a reason. Both great performers as far as lasting power and projection, both have mass appealing compliment getting smells. If wearing it for a date though make sure not to overspray. Can be a little overpowering, especially Sauvage.
People in the fragrance world complain about it being overly synthetic but I’m not bothered by it. It’s masculine but not overly musky which makes it applicable to any situation and any age. It’s mass appealing and my personal favorite of the big blue fragrances.
Y EDP will fit as a great date scent, casual scent, fall-spring scent, and even every day scent. It’s not too common and it is an ultra attractive scent.
