has anyone bought hublot clasp from ebay? How was it? the stock clasp is uncomfortable for me. or has anyone bought gen clasp or gen strap from AD before? do you just go in and tell them you want to buy strap and clasp or you do it through phone? Thanks That said, the Hublot Big Bang Unico Titanium Ceramic 42mm is a lot larger than the 42mm figure in its name would lead you to believe. The only way this watch measures 42mm is from the 10 o’clock position of the case profile to the edge of the bezel (!) at 4 o’clock. At 4 o’clock, the pusher enters the case at a point where the polished . It will still suffer from clasp pain syndrome , it was either too tight or too loose for my wrist size.When these showed up on trusty's I tried the gen on this week at the airport and was reminded that as much as I like the style of this watch, the Hublot clasp is not for me, a shame, it looks great, despite some failings from the front, but a good attempt.
The finishing of the deployant clasp is slightly below the Noob clasp. The outside of the clasp is better finished (mirror finish), however some parts of the inside of the clasp isn’t as well finished. Once again, the strap is stiffer than the gen strap I . They are very uncomfortable and cut into my wrist. My "solution" was to sand down the sharp edges with a dremel and make them smooth. That fixed most of the problem. With regard to bending the clasp, I didn't try that. I wonder if that's easy to do without affecting the functionality of the clasp.
