I am very happy with the purchase. My only regret is I should have gotten this long ago.
Debating between picking up a 16570 and a 16710 as a travel watch and wondering how the bezels hold up generally to regular wear. Looking to get either as my only travel watch and maybe add a rubber strap as well.
Without further ado, I welcome this Z series 16570 Must say the explorer feels very good on the wrist. The case has some heft, the white dial is just something very special and the bracelet/clasp is very tight and feels great!

Tougher than a sub (no moving bezel) plus gives you the GMT function. I had known for many years that it would be a 16570 for a number of reasons and when the right example came up this spring I knew it was time. This is a M serial with 3186 movement and engraved rehaut, putting it around 2007-2008.
The Explorer II in 16570 form is undoubtedly true to its tool watch roots with an extremely easy-to-read dial as well as durable and robust construction. It wears light and airy on the wrist, slipping easily under my shirt cuff. I own a few six-digit Rolex watches and the difference in feel is quite noticeable.
