Diorama feels more like a crossbody length, versus YSL wears better as a shoulder bag. If I had to choose, YSL wins practicality but Diorama wins aesthetics; but then again, a black Chanel WOC seems to be the winner in my eyes as a classic black wallet on chain. YSL Wallet on a Chain (large) in black with gold hardware. 2. Celine Medium Classic Bag in Box Calfskin in black. I realize there's a steep difference in price haha.

If you want a bag with a bit of an edge to it, go with the Valentino. The Valentino is definitely a statement bag while the YSL is not. It's hard to open and doesn't look like it will soften up anytime soon. Capacity is very small, even for a medium. If you overstuff the bag, the flap will warp at an angle and tilt to the side.
