You know, this seems to be the refrain when visiting AD's.the 36mm watches are too small and are being purchased by old men and young women only. When one looks at the pricing of the line up, the 36mm's remain, in stainless at least 00 less (list) than many of other watches (DJ II, Sub, Milgauss, GMT, etc. etc.). The 36mm dj only feels about right with the fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet, it plays much smaller with a domed bezel. However, if you are concerned at all with 36 feeling small, then don't get it. You will constantly second guess whether or not the watch is too small until you get rid of it or get another one.

Is the 36mm too small moving forward ? I love the look of 90's datejusts. Is this a good idea / investment or with larger sizes being the modern thing is a 36mm a bad idea. I just fell in love with Datejust with black dial, fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. The question is the size. Should I go with classic 36mm if I have a 7.5 inch wrist and I am a bigger guy? On me, the 36mm looks too small for my liking. I'd say the perfect size for me is the DD40 size, that being said I'll take the DJ41 (that doesn't look too large on me) over the DJ36 (that looks too small on me) any day of the week. Definitely not too small. If you usually wear a 41mm or bigger, it may take your eyes to adjust to the “smaller” size but 36mm is not small. My wrist is 7.18” inch in circumference.
