Depends on your bezel gasket (hytrel ring). The hytrel ring is what allows or prevents the bezel from lifting. Its inner perimeter should fit snugly under the crystal retaining ring lip, and is the only thing that keeps a bezel from popping .
Changing for gen bezel assembly & hytrel gasket on my VSF 116610LN. Also had to take out ceramic insert and redo the alignment on it. Figured I share a few pics with you guys. A swap of the hytrel ring will fix that (you can find ones for 116610 on ebay & stretch it a bit). If you want better movement/less back play & a more solid click, snag a bezel click spring pin (317-116660). You remove the bezel so you can remove the insert, and most likely damage the hytrel ring in the process. if the insert is glued in with tape you can carefully work it loose. If its friction fit it needs to be pressed out and the risk of breaking jumps very high.
