Tape off the gold and use green scotchbrite on the brushed surfaces. The Scotch Brite pad will leave a brushed finish on your bracelet when used, but it will do so very gently since it is far less grainy and aggressive than, say sandpaper. Scotch brite pads are a form of spun synthetic fiberglass like melomine, (Mr. Clean Magic Erasers and such) or fiber-coated plastic based shrouds, with an overlapping weave pattern that acts like fine sandpaper. I'm interested in the DIY scotch brite method as I dont want the whole bracelet polished. I just want that scratch gone. There was a guy in (On?) this sub that did an AMAZING job polishing the bracelet of his (gmt I believe). It was in the comments of a post and I can’t find how he did it.
