I'm a complete novice, but upon reading a bit on this movement, I've seen some mixed, if not negative, reviews regarding reliability etc. Any advice or opinions here? It's not too late for me to switch to a different Omega.though I really love the one I've picked! The 3313 is based on an F. I bought my Omega Deville Co-Axial Chronograph with 3313 movement in 2003. I suppose I would have been amongst the first crop of people to buy this watch. I chose the silver dial, stainless steel on stainless steel strap. MOVEMENT Caliber: Omega 3313 (Base Piguet 1285) Self-winding chronograph movement with column wheel mechanism and Co-Axial Escapement for greater precision stability and durability of the movement. Free sprung balance, with date, hour, minute and continuous small seconds hands, central chronograph hand. Power Reserve: 52 hours I recently acquired a NOS Speedmaster 1957 Broad Arrow. It has a 78XXXXXX serial number, which I believe puts it at about 2010 but who knows. In any case, it has the 3313 movement, which I know in its earlier years was subject to some issues. We will keep the Piguet 3313 that will be upgraded to a three level Co-Axial escapement for certain models, mainly - size-wise - ladies chronographs. This will be a more sturdy movement with a 60 hour power reserve with an emphasis on quality and reliability.
