They brush up against the copy line, they just don't cross over it into the counterfeit territory. I own a Rolex and just got a Steinhart dive watch that I'm very happy with. 85% of the quality of a Rolex at 4% of the price. Waterproof to 100M, Swiss-made, ETA movement at 8 steps a second just like my Rolex.
The biggest difference being the rep glidelock clasp being miles better than the steinhart clasp with no micro adjust. The lume is also much better on the reps. The overall finishing better on the reps. You do get a warranty with steinhart though, which is nice, but both my reps and steinhart are all still ticking with no issues or service.
